Here's how the game works.
The Road To The Garden is a
text-based role-playing game divided into daily fights, with your results in each fight
winning you points towards the Grand Prize -- a trip to New York to see Evander Holyfield
and Lenox Lewis battle for the Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship. We'll also
randomly pick fights every day as "Instant Winner Prize Fights", with the winner
receiving everything from t-shirts to a set of boxing gloves autographed by Don King!
To represent you in the fights
you'll create an online fighter, picking things like hand-speed and defensive style, that
will be pitted against other players' online fighters every night at midnight. The
way you define your fighter will affect how he or she perform in that nights fights, so
pick carefully!
You can also help your fighter by
visiting our sponsors, for each of our sponsors you visit you'll receive extra points to
help you fighter win that night.
You'll have your own home page to
see your results. It will have your fighter's record, a scouting report on your next
opponent, and give you an opportunity to re-train your fighter for that night's fight.
Your home page will also tell you about any Instant Winner prizes you've won, so
check in every day!
